eDR
eDR is a web-based application that allows dealers to enter an electronic dealer report. Fields that must be entered for a completed report include fisherman, port, date landed, time landed, date purchased, vessel number, species, disposition, gear, quantity, price, and other questions depending upon the partner requirements defined in the switchboard.
-
1. Set up your favorites.
You can set favorite Fishermen, Vessels, Species, etc. Favorites speed up your data entry and can always be changed.
-
2. Enter and submit your reports.
File Validation Transfer (FVT)
Dealers can upload files of their reports. Note that all files must adhere to the file format, include all required information, and use the accepted codes and values. A list of the acceptable headers and their definitions can be downloaded as a pdf or Excel file.
-
1. Upload a file with multiple dealer reports.
Upload properly formatted files that have been exported from your own dealer software.
-
2. Add a header row to your data file.
Your data file must have a header row with column names that are spelled correctly and include the appropriate underscores(_).
SAFIS API
The SAFIS API allows your software to submit data directly to SAFIS thereby eliminating the need to export and submit files.
Requires the dealer to have programming knowledge and capacity or to hire someone with these skills.
