Changes to Gear Codes and Grade Codes

The Standard Codes committee has reviewed and approved several requests for changes to the ACCSP codes. The first is the addition of a new bivalve “viscera” grade code, to accommodate dealers purchasing scallop skirts (everything except the adductor muscle). The second is to clarify two of the existing gill net gear codes by changing their names to include a reference to their “drift” configuration.

The implementation date in SAFIS and Data Warehouse will be May 5th. If you have any questions or concerns, please email support@accsp.org. We thank you for your patience.
